• 1909 Scherff & Co. in Shanghai is appointed Bosch representative in China in October.
• 1921 Jebsen and Jessen in Hamburg take over as Bosch representatives in China.
• 1926 The first Bosch service center in China is opened in Shanghai.
• 1984 License agreements for diesel injection systems are signed with the Chinese companies Weifu and Beijing Fuel Pumps.
• 1994 Moves begin to set up eight joint ventures by 1996 in the fields of automotive technology, domestic appliances, industrial technology, and security technology.

• 2004 Bosch Automotive Diesel Systems Co. Ltd. is founded in Wuxi.
• 2004 Bosch Automotive Products (Changsha) Co. Ltd. is founded.
