Established in 1995, UAES is a 50:50 joint venture with Zhong-Lian Auto-motive Electronics Co. Ltd. UAES manufactures, markets and sells engine management systems that control the injection and ignition of gasoline engines. UAES has three plants - Shanghai, Wuxi, and Xian, and an application and development center in Shanghai, where EU4 emission test can be carried out.
