Bosch Automotive Diesel Systems Co., Ltd invested significantly in a brand new state-of-the-art Technical Center in order to assure excellent local support and to achieve the fastest response time to the market. This will also help our localization efforts. The infrastructure of this state-of-the-art Technical Center consists of engine and chassis dynamometer, emission measurement equipment and product development test benches. The facility also includes a sophisticated test track.

The Technical Center with its competence-specific departments was founded in order to enhance the local Research and Development capability of our products and the needs of our customers in China.

- The Product Development department has the task to adapt the fuel injection system components according to engine/vehicle specific requirements.

- The System Development department defines and verifies that the individual components of our system work together as per the customer and the Chinese environment needs.

- The Test Laboratory is responsible for the emission and performance calibration of the engine and vehicle. The equipment used in the laboratory is the latest Bosch developed technology to ensure the highest flexibility and accuracy.

- The Application/Calibration Engineering department is responsible for the system optimization using the functionality of the Electronic Control Unit.

- The Reliability Test Center ensures that our product upholds high quality standards by performing various types of reliability testing.

- The Nozzle and Nozzle Holder Development department is responsible for adapting the key element of the fuel injector. The nozzles are an integral part of achieving durability and emission targets.

- The Mechanical System department continues the support for Weifu and Bosch products that exist in the market today.

In dividing the Technical Center into these departments we are able to focus the competencies on specific areas of our fuel injection system to ensure a high quality product that meets the requirements of the Chinese market.

Our Technical Center also offers training to the associates of our customers. The role based training with its job oriented training modules provides the knowledge and the skills for different target groups. The training is conducted by our engineers with first-hand project experience. By providing this training we are able to ensure a better technical understanding which translates to smooth running projects.
