Robert Bosch Co. Ltd. was established in Hong Kong in 1990 with a primary focus on market development and international purchasing. Hong Kong is now the regional base for all sales and marketing operations for Power Tools in the Asia Pacific region; the home of the center of Competence for Development, Quality Assurance and Procurement for Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in Asia.

Effective from 1st January 2008, Hong Kong Sales Organization is set up under Robert Bosch Co. Ltd in Hong Kong and take over the Hong Kong/Macau business from Melchers. Bosch is not only a supplier of Power Tools, accessories and spare parts, but also a distributor for Hong Kong and Macau market.
