Total water consumption fell by 6.1 percent to 16.9 million cubic meters. While the portion of total water consumption accounted for by freshwater remained nearly constant, the use of water from our own sources showed a 16 percent year-on-year drop. At 43.2 percent of total water consumption, it is now significantly lower than the share of freshwater taken from public supplies.
