- High-performance (10x optical/10x digital) zoom auto-focus
- Heavy-duty, tamper-proof aluminium housing
- Easy integration with entire range of Bosch CCTV products
Bosch Security Systems announces the release of the AutoDome Easy, an affordable, compact PTZ camera designed for discrete video surveillance in mid-sized indoor applications. The newest addition to Bosch's popular AutoDome family, the AutoDome Easy combines a high-performance pan/tilt unit and an auto-focus zoom camera in a compact, vandal-proof housing to offer a new, cost-effective alternative that bridges the gap between fixed mini dome and traditional high-speed PTZ dome cameras.
The AutoDome Easy is particularly well suited for discrete surveillance applications, such as small retail, education facilities and offices because of its compact size and vandal-resistant housing. At less than half the size of traditional PTZ dome cameras and 20 per cent smaller than most other minidomes, the AutoDome Easy measures less than 100 mm in diameter.
Though small in size, the AutoDome Easy incorporates a high-performance 100x (10x optical/10x digital) zoom auto-focus camera with advanced digital imaging technology to deliver excellent sensitivity and resolution. Other user-friendly features make the AutoDome Easy simple to operate, such as autos-caling and auto-focus; a simple, intuitive menu structure with multiple language support; and IntuiKey support, ensuring that the camera uses the same keyboard and joystick commands as the rest of the Bosch AutoDome family. A heavy-duty, tamper-proof aluminium housing and rugged polycarbonate bubble protect the camera from vandalism and theft, ensuring the AutoDome Easy continues to deliver critical images even in the toughest environments.
The new Bosch AutoDome Easy camera provides a high degree of flexibility, with 60 user-defined, preset positions as well as four auto-scan modes and four preset tours. With an integrated controller delivering variable pan/tilt speeds up to 120 degrees per second, the AutoDome Easy offers pan, tilt and preset accuracy to within ± 0.1 degree to capture the correct scene every time. The camera's 359-degree pan range and overlapping field of view enable a full 360 degrees of visual coverage. A single AutoDome Easy provides as much coverage as four or more fixed mini-domes at half the cost of a traditional high-speed PTZ dome camera, allowing users to monitor a larger area with fewer cameras, reducing initial equipment investment as well as installation and maintenance costs.
The innovative AutoDome Easy can be part of an integrated, low-maintenance solution from Bosch, as it conveniently integrates with the entire line of Bosch video products including Allegiant matrix switchers, DiBos and Divar digital recorders, and the full range of Bosch video-over-IP products.
As with all Bosch products, AutoDome Easy has been subjected to the industry's most comprehensive and demanding endurance tests to make sure it will hold up through years of use. In addition, the AutoDome Easy is backed by Bosch's industry-leading three-year warranty.
Designed for quick and easy installation, the AutoDome Easy comes fully assembled and ready for surface mount applications. Available wall and pipe mount kits allow AutoDome Easy to adapt to individual site requirements.
