Bosch demonstrates in Guangzhou how technology can improve people’s lives

Guangzhou – Today Bosch opens its pavilion from November 7th to November 15th at the German Esplanade, a part of the “German and China – Moving Ahead Together” initiative which is under the joint patronage of the Federal Republic of Germany and the People’s Republic of China. Like the previous two editions of the German Week in Nanjing and Chongqing, Bosch participates as a City Sponsor. The Bosch Pavilion in Guangzhou is brand new and has been designed to convey in an entertaining way how Bosch technology can help to improve the quality of people’s lives.

“It is very exciting to introduce our beneficial innovations to the citizens of Guangzhou in the German Week Initiative” said Peter Pang, President of Bosch China, “In line with our company slogan ‘Invented for Life’ Bosch displays a wide range of technology and products for environmental protection, renewable energy, increased safety and also technology to make life easier at home.”

Bosch displays environmentally friendly technology such as wind, solar and Diesel technology. Bosch modern clean diesel technology can save up to 30 percent fuel allowing for a 25 percent reduction of CO2.

Drivers can also experience in an interactive simulator how the Electronic Stability Program (ESP®) from Bosch protects their lives by intervention in critical driving situations. International accident studies demonstrate that at least 40 percent of all fatal traffic accidents are caused by skidding. Around 80 percent of all skidding accidents could be prevented with ESP®.

Bosch also demonstrates the latest Bosch Power Tools with innovative Lithium-Ion technology not only for the Professional market but also for the Home and DIY market. This technology allows lighter and smaller power tools which require reduced charging time and robust performance.
