Chengdu, CHINA, 1 December, 2009 – Bosch Power Tools China launched its product donation programme today at the Sichuan Vocational and Technical College of Communications (SVTCC), to facilitate the advanced vocational education and training there. At the same time, Bosch Power Tools inked a three-year agreement, confirming except for offering the most successful products and accessories, it also leads a training series on using its power tools safely and professionally. Mr Tang Kim Kok, sales director of Bosch Power Tools China ,said, “This agreement is a milestone marking that Bosch Power Tools starts its cooperation with vocational schools in west China. We firmly believe that the donation of the professional Bosch power tools at SVTCC can best illustrate our determination to continuously support the development of local talents over the long term.” Bosch Power Tools plans to extend the similar programs with three other vocational schools within this year.

Bosch Power Tools China chose to sign the agreement with SVTCC, because of the college’s significant position in the educational sector of south west China.. In addition, Bosch Power Tools’ programme conforms to the Chinese education principle, ‘bring industry into education, create specialists for society’, which encourages companies to engage with students through instructional courses in order to provide graduates with more developed vocational skills. The donated tools cover a wide range of professional power tools, including small angle grinders and a series of cordless tools with Li-ion technology. Wei Qingyao, president at SVTCC, said. “Bosch’s product donation programme will change the current education situation that lacking good quality, professional power tools completely.”
